At Amputee Store, we want you to feel confident with every purchase. That’s why we offer a 90-day return policy on eligible items—no restocking fees for items returned in new condition!

🛍️ Return Eligibility

You can return any item within 90 days of the original ship date for a full product refund as long as it is:

  • Unopened

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed

  • In its original packaging

  • Returned items in this condition will be refunded for the full product amount, excluding original shipping fees.


    📦 How to Return an Item

    Step 1: Include Documentation
    Inside your return package, include one of the following to help us identify your order:

    • Packing slip

    • Order confirmation email

    • Receipt or proof of purchase

  • No return authorization (RMA) is required!

    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

    • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

    • If your order was over $85, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure your return is received.


⚠️ Important Return Notes

  • If your return brings your original order total below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

  • Products sold as sets must be returned as a complete set to qualify for a refund.

  • Opened or used products, like personal care items and prosthetic shrinkers, cannot be returned.

  • Any product returned more than 90 days after delivery is not eligible for a refund.


🔁 Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges (e.g., for a different size). If needed, return the item for a refund and place a new order for the correct item.


💳 Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • You’ll receive an email confirming the processing of your return.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days to your original payment method.

  • Your bank may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

  • If you haven’t received your refund after a reasonable period, please reach out to our team. 

  • We typically process returns every Tuesday and Friday. 


🌍 International Returns

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping and brokerage fees.

  • Please mark the shipment as a “Merchandise Return”.

  • Any COD shipments or returns with fees billed to Amputee Store will be rejected.
