For the most accurate measurements, what you wear matters!

Avoid taking measurements over baggy or thick clothing, as this can throw off your numbers. Instead, opt to measure directly on your skin.

For limb measurements, especially for amputees, the most precise results come when you're not wearing any clothing over the area being measured. Accuracy here means better fit, better comfort, and better results! 

If you're wearing a liner and need to measure yourself for a sock, measure your limb against your skin. Typically any required lower measurement(s) for most products are the most difficult measure and often measured too high on the limb, resulting in a too large of a size.
